Mumbai,
March 05, 2026 : With geopolitical faultlines at multiple
fronts and a growing yearning for harmony, peace has become an urgent global
priority — a message that finds deep resonance in India and beyond. Building on
its expanding global footprint, the I Am Peacekeeper Movement is calling
for collective action built on universal human values.
Founded
by peace advocate Dr. Huzaifa Khorakiwala, the movement asserts that inner
peace is the foundation of world peace and is grounded in seven human
values: Truth, Gratitude, Forgiveness, Love, Humility, Giving, and Patience.
“In these challenging times, peace cannot be an abstract ideal,” said Dr.
Khorakiwala.
“Peace
starts with how we treat one another in our homes, workplaces and communities.
World peace will only be realized when we live the values that make it
possible.”
The
Movement, which already engages millions globally, will converge in Dubai this
May at the Billionaires for Peace Conclave, bringing together global
influencers, Nobel Peace Laureates, and philanthropic leaders. It joins India’s
own deep-rooted traditions of tolerance and unity, connecting public sentiment
with global peace-building efforts.
The
initiative follows the landmark Global Justice, Love & Peace Summit held in
April last year, which brought together 10 Nobel Peace Laureates on a single
stage, culminating in the release of a Peace Charter encouraging global
solidarity and ethical leadership.
The
I Am Peacekeeper Movement continues to grow as a platform for advocacy,
education, and shared initiatives that bridge divides and inspire cooperation
in a fractured world.
